At Adapt Transition Services, our mission is to foster a world of inclusivity, understanding, and empowerment for adolescents and adults with neurodiverse needs. We are dedicated to expanding advocacy, social supports, and recreational opportunities that help individuals build meaningful connections and lead fulfilling lives.

In addition, we partner with and support providers who share our commitment to empowering transition-aged individuals, ensuring that high-quality services and supportive environments are accessible to all. Our vision is to increase opportunities, enhance independence, and promote dignity for every person on their path to adulthood.

In Massachusetts, young adults with disabilities often lose critical supports just as they enter adulthood. At age 22, many transition out of school-based services with few options for continued growth. Families are left with limited resources, little access to recreational opportunities, and a lack of programs that build lasting independence and meaningful social connections. Too often, this gap leaves individuals without the tools they need to thrive.

At Adapt Transition Services, we are working to change that. Our nonprofit serves as a fundraising base to expand advocacy, social supports, and recreational programs that enrich lives and promote community inclusion. In addition, we partner with Adapt ABA to ensure individuals also have access to high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Together, these efforts create a holistic system of care — blending evidence-based clinical support with meaningful enrichment opportunities — so that individuals with neurodiverse needs can build independence, dignity, and belonging.
